The Incumb...Sorry not to have seconded you sooner.<br /><br />The Incumbents are obsolete, and so are all the arguments concerning "the benefits of capitalism." We are clearly not benefiting. As the rest of the world is getting N x 1gbps FTTP, our incumbents are scared to death of it and keep pushing "wireless" despite accelerating concerns for the health effects of EM radiation.<br /><br />I have advocated for local communities to wire themselves up to cut the intransigent incumbents out of the picture, see http://communityfiber.org.
